Located in the rural zone, it was a nice comfy base for one night. All members of staff were great. It is close to the airport. If your plans include visiting Pink Hill Lock, you should stay here.
Nothing to fault.

The room was clean and comfortable, with stylish decor and a well-equipped ensuite. The breakfasts were excellent, using high-quality produce. The location was convenient, with a regular bus service nearby that offered an easy and affordable way to explore the area.
The signage to the hotel was poor and difficult to find. The TV signal was unreliable and kept breaking up.

Very family atmosphere, beautiful new rooms in English style, new and clean bathroom, very nice, friendly landlords, directly in the green area, not far from a small lake, so we could sleep with an open window.

It was a convenient location for the park and ride into Oxford; the room was comfortable, although being tall we would have been better in a room without the pitch of the roof. The family were very friendly and helpful, and we were met with a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, eg theyadvised us the most convenient and cost-effective way to travel into London for one of our days. I would recommend Lane House tofriends/family. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
The only downside was that the front door opened onto the dining area, so people were having breakfast when we went through to go out for the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Lane House! Carrie, our host, was incredibly welcoming and even offered to drive my friend to the coach station. The location was peaceful, with comfortable beds and a clean shower. The breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked bacon. The hosts were professional and the separate guest check-in area made it feel like a cozy BnB.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The hosts were welcoming and provided good advice on local dining and travel.
There was no comfy chairs or a table to sit at in the room.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Said Business School and Ashmolean Museum, and I was not disappointed. The location was ideal for my work purposes and allowed me to easily access these places. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and provided everything I needed during my stay.
The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated workspace in the room. It would have been great to have a desk or a designated area where I could comfortably work on my laptop.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice large room with an excellent ensuite shower room. The countryside setting is close to Oxford and there is a Park & Ride close by. Some excellent eating places near by that were recommended to us by the hosts. Had a lovely stay and would certainly go again.

Although we unfortunately were only able to stay here for one night, we immensely enjoyed it - I have never slept in such a comfortable bed. Everything about our room was fabulous, the hosts were extremely friendly, and the breakfast was very nice. It is in a very good location in that it is near central Oxford but outside of the hustle and bustle.

Guests have praised the hosts for their warm welcome and helpful local tips. the breakfast provided at the hotel is said to be amazing, with a variety of options including cereals, toast, and a delicious full English breakfast.
Some guests complained about the cleanliness of the stair carpet and bathroom, citing issues such as dirty towels, uncleaned glasses, and a toilet brush in poor condition.

It is very private/personal and nothing like a larger B & B which is what we wanted. The room was very comfortable and we were looked after very well indeed without any intrusion. Breakfast was excellent and served at a time to suit us. All in all a good choice for a visit to Oxford as it is very convenient for a number of park and rides (we used Seacourt about a mile away) which is by far the best way to get in/out of Oxford.
The only thing was the late check in which in winter can be problematic as it can be a tricky place to find in the dark. We couldn't see the sign off the main road and this led to us going past it several times!
